Key Features

  • Ultra-high Adsorption Capacity

Significantly higher pollutant loading capacity than standard coal GAC, effectively removes trace organic pollutants and extends filter bed service life.

  • Low Floating Rate & High Strength

<6% floating rate and >90% hardness, suitable for various water treatment processes, reduces carbon loss and fine powder generation.

  • Wide Particle Size Customization

Standard 8×30 mesh and 12×40 mesh available, supports custom particle size specifications for different flow rate and pressure drop requirements.

  • Stable Chemical Properties

Adapts to wide pH range of raw water, maintains stable adsorption performance under different water quality conditions.

Applications

  • Industrial Process Water Advanced Purification: Electronics, chemical and pharmaceutical industries need production process water with low organic pollutant content. LAC-P's enhanced iodine value and surface area deliver stronger removal of trace and refractory organics than standard coal grades, supporting higher water quality standards.

  • Ultrapure Water Treatment Core Media: UPW systems require core adsorption media to reduce TOC and protect downstream precision equipment. LAC-P's 1000 mg/g iodine value approaches coconut shell performance at a coal-based cost, optimizing capital expenditure for large systems.

  • Reclaimed Water Reuse & Intermediate Water: Advanced treatment of reclaimed water must meet reuse standards for industrial or municipal applications. LAC-P's higher capacity extends service life and improves effluent quality for recycling systems.

  • High-Standard Industrial Water Treatment: Projects pursuing cost-effective high performance need more than standard coal carbon can offer. LAC-P fills the gap between conventional coal GAC and premium coconut shell grades.

FAQ

Q: What is the main difference between LAC-P and LAC?

A: LAC-P has higher iodine value (≥1000 mg/g vs ≥900 mg/g) and larger specific surface area with stronger adsorption capacity and longer service life. It is more suitable for high-standard process water and reclaimed water reuse projects, while LAC is more cost-effective for conventional drinking water and general water treatment.

Q: Can LAC-P be regenerated and reused?

A: Yes, LAC-P coal-based granular activated carbon supports thermal regeneration. After adsorption saturation, professional high-temperature thermal regeneration can restore most adsorption capacity, reducing long-term operation cost for large-scale projects. For non-regenerable applications, consider WT-S.

Q: What packaging is available?

A: LAC-P is available in standard 25 kg woven bags and 500 kg bulk ton bags. Custom packaging and particle size specifications can be provided. For bulk municipal projects, WT-series may offer better logistics efficiency.
