Product Overview

PSD-A1 S starts with high-density coconut shell raw material processed through extended steam activation to achieve ≥1100 mg/g iodine value and a highly developed micropore structure. The activated carbon then undergoes multi-stage acid leaching and DI water rinsing to reduce total ash below 3% and strip soluble metal ions from the carbon matrix. The final product delivers a neutral effluent pH of 5–8 with minimal metallic extractables.

This dual-benefit profile eliminates the trade-off between high adsorption and high purity — a common limitation in standard acid-washed carbons. It is particularly well suited for high-load semiconductor UPW polishing, precision electroplating bath treatment, premium POU drinking water and pharmaceutical process water applications.
