Manufactured from carefully selected high-quality coal through molding process and high-temperature steam activation, P-80 pelletized activated carbon features regular cylindrical shape, uniform particle size and well-developed porous structure. With CTC value over 80%, it has good adsorption capacity for organic gases, sulfides and odorous substances. The regular pellet structure brings lower and more uniform pressure drop in gas flow, suitable for various fixed-bed gas treatment systems. It is widely used in air purification, HVAC odor control, industrial waste gas pretreatment and catalyst carrier fields.

Q: What is the difference between pelletized and granular carbon for gas treatment?
A: Pelletized carbon has regular shape and uniform particle gap with more stable and lower pressure drop, suitable for high-flow ventilation systems. Granular carbon has richer pore structure on particle surface with faster adsorption rate, suitable for high-concentration waste gas treatment. For high-concentration recovery, consider P-100 or PL-380/PL-480.
Q: What is the recommended service life in HVAC systems?
A: For conventional commercial building HVAC odor control, recommended replacement cycle is 6–12 months. Actual life depends on air volume, pollutant concentration and ambient temperature/humidity. For longer life, PLC-370 coconut shell pellet carbon is an alternative.
Q: Can P-80 be used for high-concentration industrial waste gas?
A: P-80 is suitable for low-to-medium concentration conventional organic waste gas and odor treatment. For high-concentration industrial waste gas or solvent recovery, we recommend P-100 or higher-performance coconut shell pellet carbon.
