Product Overview

P-100 pelletized activated carbon adopts selected high-quality coal as raw material, through advanced molding process and high-temperature deep activation to form a highly developed porous structure. With CTC adsorption value over 100%, it has high adsorption loading capacity for various volatile organic compounds, sulfides and odorous gases.

The uniform cylindrical particle structure ensures low and stable pressure drop under high gas flow rate, suitable for adsorption and recovery of medium and high concentration organic gases. It is widely used in chemical, printing and coating industries for solvent recovery, oil vapor recovery and industrial organic waste gas treatment.

Key Features

  • High Adsorption Capacity

Highly developed pore structure with large adsorption capacity, effectively adsorbs various organic solvents and volatile organic compounds, extends adsorption cycle.

  • Uniform Pellet & Low Pressure Drop

Regular 2mm cylindrical particles with uniform bed gap, maintains stable and low resistance under high gas velocity, reduces system operation cost.

  • High Mechanical Strength

Resistant to abrasion and extrusion, low dust generation during adsorption and desorption cycles, suitable for frequent regeneration systems.

  • Multiple Diameter Options

Available in 2mm, 3mm and 4mm diameters, suitable for different gas velocity and system design requirements.

Applications

  • High-Value Solvent Recovery: Chemical, printing and coating industries vent organic solvents that represent both economic loss and environmental liability. P-100's ≥100% CTC value and highly developed pore structure adsorb benzene, esters, ketones and alcohols with high loading capacity, maximizing recovery efficiency in cyclic adsorption-desorption systems.

  • Oil Vapor Recovery at Loading Terminals: Gas stations, oil depots and chemical plants lose valuable hydrocarbons through venting. P-100's uniform pellet structure and high mechanical strength support continuous oil vapor recovery treatment, meeting emission standards while reducing resource waste.

  • High-Concentration Organic Waste Gas Treatment: Industrial processes generating high-concentration VOCs need core adsorption media with sufficient capacity. P-100's ultra-high CTC value handles heavy organic loads with longer single adsorption cycles than conventional grades.

  • Gas Purification & Catalyst Carrier: Deep purification of various industrial gases and support for gas-phase catalysts benefit from P-100's high surface area and stable cylindrical structure.

Technical Advantages

Technical Advantages.png
  • 25% higher CTC value than P-80 grade significantly improves organic gas loading capacity and extends single adsorption cycle.

  • Suitable for thermal desorption regeneration process with stable performance after multiple adsorption-desorption cycles and long overall service life.

  • Uniform particle size distribution ensures stable airflow distribution in adsorption bed, avoiding local overheating and channeling.

  • Mature production process with stable quality widely used in industrial solvent recovery and waste gas treatment projects.

FAQ

Q: What is the main difference between P-100 and P-80?

A: P-100 has higher CTC value (≥100% vs ≥80%) and larger adsorption capacity, suitable for solvent recovery, oil vapor recovery and high-concentration organic waste gas treatment. P-80 is a cost-effective conventional grade for daily air purification, HVAC odor control and low-concentration waste gas treatment. For coconut shell alternatives, consider PLC-370/PLC-470.

Q: Can P-100 be regenerated by steam desorption?

A: Yes, P-100 is suitable for steam desorption regeneration and can restore most adsorption capacity after desorption — the mainstream solution for industrial solvent recovery systems. For applications requiring even higher CTC, PL-390/PL-490 are available.

Q: For high-boiling-point solvent recovery, should I choose P-100 or PL-380/480?

A: P-100 (CTC ≥100%) is optimized for maximum adsorption capacity in high-boiling-point solvent and oil vapor recovery systems where loading per cycle is critical. PL-380/480 (CTC ≥80%) provides reliable performance for general solvent recovery at a more economical price point. If your process requires coconut shell purity or ultra-low ash for sensitive chemical environments, CTC-100 or PLC-470 are recommended alternatives.
