Product Overview

As the top grade of PL series pellet carbon, PL-390/PL-490 adopts selected high-quality bituminous coal and precision-controlled deep activation process to achieve extremely developed porous structure, with CTC adsorption value up to more than 90%. It has ultra-high adsorption capacity for various organic solvents and volatile organic compounds, and maintains excellent mechanical strength and regeneration stability, suitable for high-efficiency solvent recovery and deep purification of low-concentration organic gases.

Available in 3mm (PL-390) and 4mm (PL-490) diameters, they are the preferred choice for high-standard industrial gas purification and solvent recovery projects.

Q: When is PL-390 more recommended than PL-380?

A: PL-390 is recommended for recovering high-value solvents, achieving ultra-low emission deep purification, or extending adsorption cycle and reducing regeneration frequency. It provides higher capacity and better deep purification. For conventional recovery, PL-380/PL-480 is sufficient.

Q: Can PL-490 replace coconut shell pellet carbon?

A: For most industrial solvent recovery and organic waste gas treatment, PL-490 provides close adsorption performance at more competitive cost. For scenarios with extremely high requirements for low molecular weight gas adsorption and ash content, coconut shell PLC-370/PLC-470 is more recommended.

Q: What is the bulk density of PL-390?

A: Bulk density is 330–410 kg/m³ for filling quantity calculation. For lower density/higher purity needs, CTC-100 or GPC-P coconut shell grades are alternatives.
