Derived from biomass precursors through controlled pyrolysis and activation, our hard carbon features optimized interlayer spacing (0.38–0.40 nm) for efficient Na⁺ intercalation, making it ideal for grid-scale energy storage and electric vehicle applications.

2.Gold Recovery

PURESTAR's gold recovery activated carbon is the industry standard for Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP), Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), and Carbon-in-Column (CIC) gold extraction circuits:
  • Gold adsorption capacity: > 8,000 g Au/t carbon
  • Superior hardness: > 98% abrasion resistance (ASTM D5261) to minimize carbon fines and gold losses
  • Optimized particle size: 6×12 mesh and 8×16 mesh for rapid kinetics and efficient elution
  • Low platelet content: reducing preg-robbing of gold-cyanide complexes
